Guidelines for Certification Mark and Logo Usage
The BSecurity and Accreditation Body marks are for the exclusive use of certified clients and must always be displayed alongside the company’s name. The logo is strictly for promotional materials within the certified scope and is prohibited on laboratory reports or directly on products. While the mark may appear on product packaging, it must include a clear statement identifying the client, the specific management system (e.g., ISO 9001/14001), and BSecurity as the issuer, without implying product certification.
Technical and Compliance Requirements:
Scaling & Color: The logo must maintain its original form, with a minimum size of 10mm, and be reproduced in official colors or a single solid tone.
Authorization: Rights are non-transferable; any third-party use or unconventional application requires prior written approval from BSecurity.
Oversight: Clients must permit on-site verification visits from Accreditation Body representatives when required.
Misuse and Misleading Use of Certification Marks
In the event of logo or mark misuse, Certifications will issue a formal Corrective Action Report (CAR) outlining necessary adjustments and a strict deadline. If a client’s certification scope is modified (extended or reduced), all promotional materials must be amended immediately. The client is required to submit evidence of corrective actions within one month of the CAR issuance.
Sanctions and Enforcement:
Non-Compliance: Failure to address a CAR will result in a formal written demand. Continued non-compliance may lead to certification cancellation by the BSecurity Certification Committee.
Revocation: Upon cancellation, the physical certificate must be returned to BSecurity, and the organization reserves the right to publish notice of the transgression.
Legal Action: Unauthorized use of marks during suspension or after cancellation will trigger legal proceedings.
Specific Prohibitions: The use of marks on laboratory tests, calibration, or inspection reports is strictly forbidden, as these are considered the organization’s primary “products.”
Corrective Action and Suspension Protocols
Evidence of corrective actions for non-conformities identified during surveillance audits must be submitted and approved within one month of issuance. Failure to meet this deadline will result in immediate certification suspension. If the client fails to demonstrate follow-up actions during the suspension period, BSecurity Certifications reserves the right to proceed with formal cancellation of the certificate.
Client Obligations and Certification Maintenance
Certification is valid for a three-year cycle, contingent upon successful surveillance audits conducted per the schedule. Certified clients must promptly notify BSecurity of any significant changes to their management system, corporate structure, or organizational processes. Any revisions to the System Manual must be submitted to BSecuirty for review.
Compliance and Public Disclosure:
Logo Usage: Clients must strictly adhere to the “Guide for Certification Mark and Logo Usage.” Misleading statements regarding certification are prohibited. Upon suspension, withdrawal, or scope reduction, all advertising materials must be discontinued or amended immediately.
IAF Logo Restriction: The use of the IAF logo by BS-certified clients is strictly forbidden.
Visual Integrity: When resizing the logo, the original color and aspect ratio must be preserved; the minimum size remains 10mm.
Public Information: BSecuirty will maintain the following data in the public domain: company name, address, scope, certification date, and validity.
Documentation: BSecurity retains full ownership of all audit-related documents, including final Audit Reports.
